We will have a Ch 4-6 test this Thursday. Test 3 covering Ch 7 & 8 will be next Tue, Jun 28. I am canceling Test 4. That material will be on the final exam. I will still drop the lowest test score.

First Day of Class for Summer Term

Check back here for class announcements and information, including answers to questions I get via email. You can check out the website at http://www.highlands.edu/chemistry.

The first day of class for the Summer Term is June 8, 2011. Class starts promptly at 8:30 am. In the first class meeting we will cover the syllabus, web site, and Chapter 1. As you can see, the Summer Term moves more rapidly than a normal semester.
I'm looking forward to an exciting and fast-paced summer.
Don't forget that the lecture notes are posted at http://web.me.com/hmoody/Chemistry/Chem1211Klect.html. To enhance your learning experience, I highly recommend that you print the lecture notes before coming to class. Otherwise you will have difficulty keeping up.

Course Grades

In SCORE there is an option for part-of term grades.  This allows the student to see the grades immediately after they have been entered by the instructor.  Once I have run end of term processes the grades are “rolled” into academic history and then they are able to be viewed via the final grades link in SCORE.
